Who am I?
Hi there! My name is Ramazan Nazirov. I am a 3D environment artist with a focus on creating stunning digital worlds in Unreal Engine 5, along with other advanced tools for creating high-quality models and textures. The entire process will be explained in detail further.
My workflow

Everything begins from inspiration! Big bang in your mind, heart and soul that propels you into an engrossing journey of the unknown and uncertain.

This is the most crucial part as it set direction and basement for whole project. In this stage the main focus sets on researching by collecting and analyzing references. Afterward i brainstorm what final piece might look like and create several rough sketches, exploring various ideas and concepts. This helps me to ensure that the final result is cohesive and aligned with my artistic goals.

Personally, I prefer to use Blender as the main modeling tool for its convenience, simplicity and ability to meet high industry standarts. Additioanlly in specific cases ZBrush comes in extremely handy.

For some models I prefer to use Quixel Mixer as it provides high quality textures and make process of texturing intuitive and almost seamless.But generally all process of texturing happens after exporting model directly in Unreal Engine 5

I utilize Unreal Engine 5 as the main tool for creating 3D scenes because provides an immense range of extraordinary powerful tools. From sculpting landscapes just from scratch up to lighting and rendering scenes. So the whole workflow feels like an engaging game in your hands.
M A Y E N PROJECT
Everything begins with inspiration!
The architecture of Alpine mountain huts, known as Mayens, has been the primary source of inspiration for this project. The commitment to tradition and the preservation of the authentic appearance of these buildings has been the essence of my endeavor.
The main idea was to breathe new life into the old building while respecting its original style, making it inhabitable and saving its unique qualities. The goal was to combine the old and new in such a way as to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, all while maintaining the building's original charm and character.
Mayen is not a specific location, rather, it is about reflections of one's emotions and feelings about past and present. I strongly believe that anyone can discover something deeply meaningful to them in this project.
The aim of this project was to comprehend and deeply appreciate the inherent beauty of our world. One of the aspirations was to preserve the integrity of the impression and achieve harmony by uniting seemingly incompatible elements of traditional foundation with contemporary elements
What’s it about?
The goal of this project was to understand and appreciate the beauty of the world by uncovering secrets that lie within the enchanting realm of harmony. The aim was to carefully preserve the integrity of the impression by bringing together different elements.
Time of day
With Unreal's powerful lighting system, Lumen, the experience of playing with sunlight and shadows was truly enjoyable. Regardless of this, an HDRI card was used for the night time of the day. Equally important was the creation of a warm and inviting ambiance. For this purpose the use of soft, gentle lighting was carefully considered to highlight the overall atmosphere of tranquility and coziness. This attention to lighting not only enhance appeal of the house highlighting properties of materials but also contribute to the overall sense of serenity.
Lightbugs
To give the night an even more magical and soothing look, I decided to add some lightbugs as they emit a warm and enchanting glow that spreads a sense of peace and awe. Moreover their presence imparts an ethereal touch to the night. Thanks to Niagara system which makes it possible to achieve absolutely any effect. The process of creating Custom FX seems quite intuitive, simply by adding and twiking particles in the scene.

Dive into the night...
Among the Mist
Fog
The creation of a foggy atmosphere was as important as depicting the nighttime scenes. To achieve a captivating and realistic misty effect, an HDRI map was employed, perfectly transferring the essence of fog to the scene. Through adjustments to the volumetric fog and sky atmosphere settings, the scene was carefully fine-tuned to evoke the sence of awe-inspiring ambiance of a mist-laden environment. The effect of moving fog was achieved in Davinci Resolve by overlaying series of sequences with recordings of fog.
Smoke
To give a feel of presence to the viewers and make the scene come alive even more, it was decided to add asmoke effect, delicately billowing out through the chimney. This subtle effect of gracefully dancing smoke, helps to embrace the viewer in a moment. Thankfully unreal engine has all necessary tools to play with visual effects which comes very handy when time to breathe life into digital world finally comes.

Everything within of you
The interior of the project holds immense significance. It is within this space that the seamless transition between the past and the present happens, capturing the spirit of time and reflecting a harmonious blend of historical charm and contemporary aesthetics. My main goal was to uncover the essence of life through every detail of interior.
My previous experience in architectural visualisation provided me enough resources and knowledge to translate atmosphere of peace and solitude in every corner of interior. Through careful attention to detail, precise lighting, and understanding of spatial composition a sense of tranquility and serenity has been achieved.
What makes it feel so special?
Why are we so deeply attached to the past? What makes us feel so melancholic about a time we've never lived in? The true spirit is traditions and our memory of our ancestors. The appearance of old furniture, walls crafted from rough stucco, crockery that turned into family heritage, all of this things fill that space with spirit of sanctity, something that we strive to preserve at all cost. This is a trembling feeling, like a gust of wind blowing away the autumn leaves, that shaking the very core of our being. The common roots we share are like invisible threads delicately woven within the fabric of our existence, bringing us closer to one another. These connections hidden deep within our hearts, remind us of our innate sense of unity and belonging that transcends all boundries. It is through these shared roots that we find solace in our common humanity and navigate in this vast tapestry of life drawing strength from our collective past.
Furnace
This very special detail of the interior is truly remarkable. It possesses a unique quality that has the power to transform the entire space, making it feel distinctive and full of charm. The rough surface and cracked appearance of the furnace resemble the pages of an ancient book, speaking volumes about the rich history and the lives of the previous owners who once inhabited the house. It's a captivating element that adds a layer of depth, warmth, and authenticity to the overall ambiance.
Seasons may change…
The wooden crockery and pottery passed down from our ancestors, intricately woven baskets brimming with fresh vegetables and wild mushrooms, and the weathered jars containing a treasure trove of spices and pickles—all narrate a story of heritage and tradition. Proudly standing in the top corner, a wooden statue depicting the goddess of prosperity and harvest serves as a guardian, overseeing the abundance of supplies.".
In the timeless beauty of these simple objects, we are reminded of the ceaseless march of time. These moments evoke a profound melancholy within our hearts and minds. Is it our mortal nature that stirs this emotion, or is there something deeper, beyond our comprehension?
The round mirror, with its sleek metal frame exuding elegance, effortlessly elevates any space. Its black details gracefully dance against the backdrop of the bright walls, creating a striking contrast that captivates the eye. The room itself is adorned with glazed royal green tiles glistening and shimmering in the light. The combination of these carefully selected elements evokes a sense of richness and well-being, enveloping the room in a luxurious aura that is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who enter.

The living room, an essential space in the house, calls to us after a long day. It invites us to relax on the sofa with our favorite books and savor the moment. With a fragrant cup of spiced coffee in hand, we embrace life's simple pleasures. In this tranquil sanctuary, we realize what truly matters in this world - appreciating the gift of life itself.
While it serves as more than just a place for rest, the second floor houses relics from various corners of the world, connecting us with all of mankind and reminding us of who we are. These pieces of art, inherited from different eras and cultures, evoke a deep sense of understanding and integrity. By looking at them, we forget about our differences and focus on what we have in common.
