Behind the Scene
The idea for this project originated quite a long time ago. As far back as I can remember, I have been captivated by the tranquil ambiance of mountain huts and cabins. The atmosphere of solitude and serenity that nature brings to our hearts and minds has always profoundly influenced my vision
After analyzing and synthesizing information from various references, I conducted swift studies of the building volumes and their details. The primary challenge was to uphold the artistic look and visual expression consistently throughout the process.

After finalizing the complete vision for the building, it was time to bring the idea to life. Blender was selected as the primary modeling tool for its convenience and simplicity, while ZBrush was utilized for crafting the log walls, providing more precise sculpting tools.
Upon completing the modeling process, the entire volume was imported into Unreal Engine 5. The next step involved creating a beautiful landscape, with a particular emphasis on designing impressive cliffs and mountains that gently sloped down to a peaceful lake, resulting in a more picturesque view. At the same time, I focused on carefully adding texture to the wooden and plaster elements to make the whole picture look more detailed and realistic.
Working with the forest and plants proved to be an incredibly enjoyable experience. The gentle sway of the grass and flowers in the wind added an enchanting touch to the scene. The inclusion of wooden fences, benches, and other outdoor furniture helped to bring the environment to life. I am thankful for the vast library provided by Quixel Bridge, as it played a vital role in bringing life in this digital world.
At the final steps, all that was left to do was placing cameras and finding the most expressive camera angles. The goal was to search for harmony and balance within the composition, ensuring that each shot conveyed the desired emotion and narrative. Additionally, refining the light settings was crucial, as light and shadows play a significant role in enhancing the atmosphere and evoking the desired mood. These final adjustments served as the finishing touches that transformed the dream into a reality.
